I was little in the seventies. When my parents used to ask where we wanted to go we would yell, "Stuckeys!" I guess we had been taken there once and it made quite an impression on us. Years later, we went to a stuckeys and they had native american dolls and fire crackers. We got eggs and my brother kept saying gross things until I couldn't eat them. But being in a Stuckeys again was really groovy.

when i was a child still in school, i couldn't wait until summertime when my dad and mom would take me cross-country to different destinations and i would always look for the stuckey's ahead road signs and couldn't get to the exit fast enough! if i was asleep in the back seat, mom would always yell, "brian, wake up! we're at stuckey's!" i would wake up with a big old smile on my face and heart! it's so sad that they hardly even exist anymore! i wished i could revive them for future generations as we all enjoyed them! thanks for the memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While on a couple road trips as a child my brother and I would always look for the telltale Stuckey's roof. If Dad pulled the old Plymouth station wagon into a Stuckey's we knew we were in for some good food and special souvenirs if we behaved.
I just went on a Girl Scout bus trip last week with my own two daughters. Although I was sad to see the familiar roofs are gone, I was pleased to buy some peacan treats for my father and share the memories with my daughters. Thanks for still being there!

I miss the Stuckey's here in its birthplace of Eastman. The town hasn't been the same since Stuckey's left.

Greetings, love your site and layout, Recall fondly stopping at one of your locations while in the States when I was a little kid on a kindergarden bus trip to Jackson, MS from Brookhaven. The smell of the dinning room was great! The cookies were wonderful! Thankyou so much for giving us a piece of home off the internet. From Laken Air Base, UK!
